Why do I sometimes see emergency vehicles from other towns working in Middleton?

A

At times, several calls for service, particularly emergency medical service, will come in at the same time. If all of our equipment is busy, or we require extra manpower and equipment to handle a fire, help will be dispatched from a neighboring town. These Mutual Aid Agreements and Automatic Aid Agreements work both ways so that you may see our personnel working in other towns as well.

Q

Do you know how/where/cost I can get my home fire extinguisher checked and refilled?

A

The Middleton Fire Department does not provide this service.  We suggest that you look under Fire Extinguishers in your local yellow pages to find a dealer near you that will check and refill your home fire extinguisher.
